I’m mired in indecision …
I have no idea where to go tomorrow.
I’m meeting the pm in Brussels on Wednesday. Tonight is the last night on the houseboat. My dad’s gone back to Birmingham.
I have to go somewhere that feels right but I’m not sure where. I thought I wanted to stay in the dunes of Zeeland but part of me wants to go to a city. I could go through the dunes of Zeeland - well, Vlissingen - on my way to Rotterdam or Utrecht. Then on somewhere else?
Gah. I don’t know.

And Three Mobile have stitched me up. It turns out they have a ‘fair use’ policy which means that - even if you’ve got a contract with unlimited data and pay the £2 a day roaming charge, you still have to pay for every megabyte once you get to 12 gigabytes …. which I have done because I was sharing the connection with my dad and streaming with impunity.

Find a brewing monastery and stay there. Get very drunk and discuss the abyss with the monks until dawn.
The strong beer is mostly so they can cope with annoying visitors.
When you have strong beer every visitor is annoying.

Access to a houseboat is a prime opportunity to LARP some key scenes from Quincy ME. Maybe that bit in the opening credits where he seems to be inspecting a corpse but the camera pans out and it turns out it's a woman half his age in a bikini? If you can't persuade a woman to play along, simply use a corpse.

I've not seen Chimay Green
I have some Chimay blanc which is my favourite.
The richness of an 8.5% beer, but the lightness of an 8.5% beer.
I did drink a 330ml bottle of 10.5% beer very quickly last year. It went to my head anusingly fast. An intense experience.
I am drinking Paulaner Hell tonight. Only 5% but delicious. And not a killer like 10% beer.
