I'm making chicken chasseur.
I fucking despise cooking at this time of year. We don't have an extractor fan in the kitchen. So I can be roasting hot or I can open the door/window and be plagued by flies/wasps all over the food and mise en place.
I need some 1970s beads for the door to stop them coming in.

Did pulled pork again to day in the slow cooker. Tried a new recipe.
Pork shoulder
Salt, pepper, cumin, demerara sugar.
Can of Thatchers gold cider.
BOOM!
Much better than the more complicated effort last time,with onions, garlic, chilli, Paprika etc etc

To be honest … this is only my second holiday overseas this year (if you don’t count my journey back from Amsterdam by train in January), and my only holiday by plane (my last was by train and ferry).

If my spreadsheet is correct, then Lazy works in some form of education. Therefore, he is likely either a member of the USS (if employed by a uni) or at least the TPS (Teachers scheme) or LGPS (local Gov). He'll therefore not need to worry about retirement planning. Tldr: Lazybones, don't listen to "The Science" (megalolz). I've done my own research. Go on loads of holidays, by helicopter preferably. OTTM, I travel to my holiday destinations in a Duesenberg powered by burning both tyres and whale blubber, in a coal furnace. |
