I saw Tootsie last night about 11pm, taking its rubbish out with their short, dumpy and spectacularly unattractive female companion. They did not see me. I did notice that Toots had a good old look through 2 of my neighbours kitchen windows. So, I've done the decent thing and grassed her up to said neighbours.
I also told The Lad.
It was my civic duty.

I fear there was some misunderstanding yesterday over my American Psycho comment.
It wasn’t that I thought it was a bad book, more that it was an inappropriate read whilst sitting on the veranda of an idyllic Tuscan villa.

I suppose if I wanted to feel sick to my stomach, it would have been through eating too much rich Italian cuisine, as opposed to the horrifying scenarios Brett Easton Ellis depicted in the novel.

I thought his earlier books were reasonable, but Glamoram put me off. I am not sure about American Psycho. It's clever and reasonably well written, I can see why Hayers liked it. That and Money by Martin Amis. They reflected the insides of his brain. |
