People still have landlines? I feel we have one but no handset that will work since BT changed us to digital rather than normal phone lines.
A little fallout 4, a lot more sleep, today is my Sunday so roast later and another early night.

Vodafone are about to move us onto digital landlines. Rarely use it, but the like the backup. Not really a backup though when digital.

I went to the pub and had a couple of large glasses of Pinot Grigio.
Croydon centre is awash with Giraffe sculptures. Why? I don't know. Something to do with it being the London Borough of Culture maybe?

I'm now back home preparing a Pizzaiola sauce to serve with steak and chips tonight; the England/Fiji rugby in the background and the EFL scores on the Beeb website.

If it's bt tell them you are vulnerable or old and they will send you a working handset. |

I walked around the Notting Hill, Westbourne and Bayswater locales today. Some big Notting Hill Carnival prep. One shop has changed its name to ‘Grab a Maggie’. I didn’t know this but a Maggie is a Magnum Tonic Wine. Similar to Baba Roots Herbal Drink. I’ve bought two bottles to find out the effects.
A part of me wants to chug a bottle tomorrow morning, then roll a herbal cigarette, then close the windows, put on the headphones, and lay into the monsters of Monster Hunter World.

Oi oi!
Visited a friend for their moving in barbecue earlier. Sweets digs he has.
He also has an ID.Buzz van. Very nice it was too, for a van. I had the opportunity to drive it too, but we had to get the boy home.
I’m not bitter about that at all.
Then, whilst dishing up dinner, I managed to drop a bowl. And I caught it after it had broken - I now have a nice chunk of skin flapping around in my right middle finger.
Was bloody for a while, but thanks to a low blood pressure, holding it above my head for an hour stemmed the flow.
