I am also back in the office today, after a weeks annual leave. We were supposed to have the whole team in but only three people turned up. It was decided to have a virtual team day, but it ended after half an hour as a couple of people got into a very heated discussion and it was decided to end the call to give people the opportunity to cool off. I wanted it to continue as it was pretty funny

Morning all. Mourning more like, amiright? ‘cause I’m back in the office for two days a week now - and I don’t like it! TVblog: Star Wars Clone Wars, for the mentally enfeebled. Also, my son has got into Horrible Histories, and it’s bloody brilliant. They're forcing you to do two days a week? And HH is great, my son loves it. Yeah, in the good old days before they answered back, the younglings liked HH. We went to the cinema to watch the film, Rotten Romans, which was good. 4* would recommend. |

They've forced some lazy slackers to get back to work There does seem to be a big push now from employers to get people back in the office. In some industries I can understand. |

When I sent out the fucking guide to do this with lovely screenshots and very patient, easy to follow language I suggested you copy the shortcut or the guide into your personal drive. Did you do that?

So, you copied the guide to reconnecting the shared drive when you don't have access into the shared drive?

What's all this not being in the office bullshit? I didn't go into the office on Saturday, as I went to a football match instead. Spent all day yesterday here though. What else is there to do on a Sunday?

Operation 'Broom' commenced earlier, but much like the 5 day British artillery bombardment at the Somme, failed to make much of an impression on the Bosche Spoders. Much shrieking was heard by Mrs T as she found 'The Big One'. Suffice to say, they're all running around on the floor outside with revenge on their mind. I did, however, torch a saboteur as it tried to breach our first line of defence (the front door).
Someday this war's gonna end...

The Great SSD Migration continues....... I have a long list of chores, and the sun is shining. Luckily one of my self-imposed chores is 'Buy Beer'. ......aaaaaaand Karma has bitten me royally in the arse. I have.. in no particular order.... Made the bed wash/dried up removed air-vent and gingerly removed the now defunct snoring-wasps nest. Replaced air-vent Done the big food shop... including beer Been to vets for mutts wormer hoovered house called in speciality butchers for proper bangers for tonights tea (Toad in the hole) Picked/prepped green beans cleaned inside windows and mirrors had 1, one, singular, beer (old speckled hen) up a ladder cleaning the outside windows when i hear phone ringing....... PM - 'Where the hell have you been i've been ringing you for hours' Hospitals been on the phone.... her bedridden step dad, who was only sent home 2 days ago after his ulcers flared up is back in A+E. Paramedics reported glass thrown 'everywhere', so i now can have no more beer and have to meet her after work at his place and try and put the place to rights again. Hospital wants him in a proper care home, but he's adamant he'd rather see out his remaining time at home, even though he's turned into StillFester Alone. Bugger. |

Update….. went to check out the ‘broken glass everywhere’ part of the carers report on pm’s stepdad.
There was NO broken glass anywhere. Nearest thing was 2 clear plastic covers off his razors that were on the floor.
Carers my hairy arse! Hope that doesn’t auto correct to caress.
