Oof. I read that, they mean the Purley Way retail park. Ah, ok. My only experience of Croydon is East Croydon train station. Which I viewed from inside a train that was passing through and had stopped to collect passengers. |

The inhabitants all seem to be on the edge of losing it, going full-eye-stabby. |

Who do we send our death threats to? NMS is far more impressive than Starfield. In NMS you can take off manually and fly around and land anywhere, Starfield is all cut scenes and quick travel. |

I had a 'quiet' period at work, so booted up Starfield. Bit of jiggery pokery to get my game audio out of the right port. Opted for the default 'High' quality settings which gives a solid 30+ FPS.... will have a look at winding some back and see how it goes. Skipped the character build section, and might do a full re-start later tonight if i get time, so i can properly loot the first base, even though it's basically the tutorial stage. Opted for the cyberpunk trait as that gives a bonus to sneak and lockpicking apparently. Alien DNA as well... who needs medkits when you've got green blood.
Will check CPU temp if and when I get to Croydon.

Starfield sounds great.
Can you crash your ship? Not being able to crash your ship in No Man’s Sky really ruined the immersion.
