I hate Mondays. Can I retire soon? < checks DOB and value of pension fund > Nope. Funnily enough (not funny at all) I looked at my pension last week. The earliest I can draw it is 55. That’s another thirteen years of work at least. [sob] The usual minimum retirement age is 57, rising to 58. Do you have a Protected Retirement Age?

The London lot who play boardgames and drink to much on a school night. Opposed to everyone else who drinks too much and plays electronic games on a school night? Little starfield, think the old graphics card doesn't like life much. How much overtime would be a new card?

Also train drivers retire after they hit two people, I guess you have to try and brake rather then accelerate though for it to count.

If you accelerate you can retire after the first.

If you accelerate you can retire after the first. They’ll even give you board and lodging.

Well the spreadsheet says he works for a bank, so he's fine. If it's Lloyd's, then the LBG No. 1 scheme and the LBG No. 2 scheme are both generous. If it's HSBC, Santander or any of their legacy schemes, like say Midland Bank or Abbey then they're even more generous. And if it's Bank of England, then, well, helicopters all round. Most have protected early retirement ages of 50, depending on date joined, or 55 if joining later. It'll only be post April 2028 joiners that have earliest retirement age of 57.
Your welcome.

I know which bank he works for 'cos my spreadsheet is bigger than yours.

I thought it was a medical related bank. Amipal works at the sperm bank?
Not sure it increases donations but rather puts off tuffers from donating several times an hour.

Is amipal still checking his retirement docs? No, I just haven’t looked back here since earlier. Tuffers is right - words I never thought I’d type, ever.
