I found it funny, 'Elvis Elbow'. What if....Elvis Elbow is actually his real name. Early in his career he went for an audition, and they misheard his name as Idris Elba, and he didn't want the awkwardness of having to correct them. My mate, who is quite a bit older than me, is dying of leukaemia or somesuch. It's quite sudden. Probably less than 10 weeks to live. He's in Kent, I'm in Somerset. Struggling to work out if visiting him is the right thing to do or not.
It's all a bit shit.

That of course is assuming they'd want to see me. <edit>Asking the family's opinion would probably be a good thing as well. |

You will regret it if you don't, I ignored my friends last phone call to me because I knew he would give me the low down (and 'friend ism') on the footie, which was usually a bit of a joke between us. I miss chatting to him, his funeral is on Monday. |
