I was watching Lockwood and Co on Netfix, until I decided to see when season 2 was going to be out.
The B*stards only went and cancelled the series, I was was ep 6 in and enthralled, the write up said it hadn't got enough views to be continued, maybe if they hadn't cancelled it might have had - Numpties..

Netflix innit. I think their policy isn't so much about viewing figures, but about how many new subscribers a show brings in. They seem to cancel most things after one or two seasons/series |

I watched about 40 minutes of Silent Hours last night. That was my limit. I only really watched it to see how many of the filming locations I recognised, but after seeing the main character drive past a public toilet that I recently took a massive shit in, I figured my interest had probably peaked

Went for a bus to the station as it was pissing down. Realised I didn't have my wallet after the tap to pay from my phone didn't work. Great start to the day.
The guy let me ride for free. No Tuffers, no.
Got to the station. There are queues for tickets. Train due in 2. Do I get on? Fuck it.
Rebooted phone. Tap to pay worked in Glasgow Central. All good.
A story you'll be glad I recounted I'm sure.
No games last night.
TV. Finished the Jimmy Saville thing. As grim as the news tbh.

The one person I line manage at work is the absolute bane of my life. Everything is a problem. She constantly complains about everyone else "not doing their job properly", while at the same time she does fuck all. In an average week i reckon she takes up about 50% of my working hours. Yesterday she went offline at about 11am and didn't respond to any of my attempts to get hold of her until just now, where she is now basically refusing to do something because she doesn't agree with some minor decision that senior mgt made about 6 months ago. Last week our big boss gave us a new high-priority project, and the response I got via an email later was "why on earth would they think I have any interest in doing that?" I replied that my only interest was that I'm being paid to do it.
I feel like I'm turning into lazy lazybones. Next thing I know I'll be asking chatGPT when world war 3 is going to start

I would inform her that she needs to do as asked by people up the food chain. Unless what they ask is illegal. If she has a problem with that she should take it to HR.
We bought into a system that recommended stock rotation based on loan history via location. One person in particular thought they knew better "as she knew her borrowers" and pretty much ignored the reports for stock rotation etc. Totally fucked things up. She had to be telt.
