Well, as the car has been behaving itself and not giving me any alarms since the gearbox was done, I decided it was time to load back all the crap I took out of ‘Old Stinky’.
While doing this I had a good rootle around, as I’m still hoping to find either a service manual, or owners manual. Did I? Nope.
What I DID find however was the previous owners stash location! No less than 4 zippy bags which at one point held some powdery stuff, but now sadly only contained what looked like an ancient tongue-print. Yuk. The stash also contained a pair of pink female knickers, which rather worryingly were for age 8-9! Considering myself lucky I got rid before I might have been pulled over and had the job of trying to explain that lot away!

I watched two episodes of nu-Who on the BBC iPlayer
s1 e7 The Long Game by RTD with Christopher Eccleston
s8 e4 Listen by SM with Peter Capaldi.
I enjoyed both. 4 stars.

Evening Lollygaggers
I'm pretty emotional right now. Earlier I made The Best™ bolognaise sauce ever by any human of all time of all time. Nothing unusual in the ingredients, but I think I must have got the right balance of everything just perfect, the herbs, seasoning, red wine, veg, garlic, the poncey wanker shavings of parmesan when serving, oh and simmering for 3+ hours may have helped too.
It's all downhill from here.

I always do the Marcella Hazan's bolognese meat sauce the main difference to other recipes I've seen is simmering the meat in milk before adding the (white) wine and tomatoes, it's good stuff. 4* <edit>I do the version where its a mix of beef and pork mince in a 2:1 ratio. |
