Why is it that every mention of X(formerly Twitter) is followed by an announcement that this used to be twatter. Shirley everyone knows this by now. It's really annoying. Get with the program gamps.

I think that's actually the full name for it, like The Artist Formerly Known As Prince.

Looks like the Ickester has finally got round to watching The Matrix. I'm pretty sure Project Bluebeam is now just a distraction for THEIR real agenda, which is based on the film, Children of Men. Stage 1 - inject everyone with a sterilisation serum under the guise of some made up shit about a PLANDEMIC. Stage 2 - wait a few years. Stage 3 - Hey presto, no new births, population collapses. Stage 4 - Hoover up all the best stuff. Stage 5 - announce the return of Christ. Stage 6 - start dishing out antidotes for the original serum. Stage 7 - population starts increasing all due to Jesus. Stage 8 - Fin Your welcome.

Hi all! Hi! Hello!
Busy weekend. Saturday, the PM went to see a friend for the day, so it was a boy’s day. Laser Zone in the morning (first time he’d been), a bit of shopping in town, then grabbed sushi for lunch from Itsu. In the afternoon, visited my dad. Then we returned home and spent some time playing on the Amiga, before ordering and eating an Indian takeaway. Boom!
Then yesterday after the boy’s swimming lesson, I went into Brighton again with the PM’s mum to visit Richer Sounds. She got a smaller TV for her holiday home, whilst I finally bought a replacement for our telly at home. A nice Panasonic OLED device, with all the 4Ks and HDRs and whatnot.

It's like watching a CH5 documentary. After an ad break they repeat everything that they had said before. As though you might have forgotten it all after three minutes.

Getting adverts for Neil Young Before + After. As well as various vinyl options and cd it's available on Blu Ray featuring Atmos mix, binaural mix and Hi Res 96/24 stereo. I thought Blu Ray was for film ? Adverts not on here by the way.

There are quite few a Blu Ray audios.
What you get is the album in 96/24 stereo. Equivalent to a digital master file. Plus usually a 5.1 mix and maybe recently an atmos mix.
It's distinct from a concert Blu Ray in that there is not normally video. Basically it's another way of selling you the same stuff again as hi def music.
It's tricky to say if they actually sound better than a CD. They are remastered (generally by Giles Martin or Steven Wilson) so they are not identical to the originals anyway. I generally rip them to FLAC which cuts the 5.1 to stereo as I prefer to play via the streamer. I occasionally play some via my Blu Ray player, but it means having the TV on. though the sound is via the receiver. Also i am playing it through the same streamer receiver and speakers which will tend to minimise any differences. I've only got a few. And I didn't always own the original album. My favourite is a classical one Palestrina Missa Papa Marcelli. It's pretty good if you like that sort of music.
If you are interested there are small communities of Blu Ray perverts on the internet who buy these sorts of things. There's lots of odd little sites where you can buy high definition music. Little classical and jazz labels mainly.
I have ordered the Neil Young Blu Ray.

Seems I can have a 34 speaker system. Already got 2 so only 32 more to go. Would also work well as a deafness accelerator. X box plays Atmos as far as I can see. Wish I'd never seen this...... disappears down an Atmos rabbit hole.

The cheapest option would be to learn to read music and just buy sheet music and listen to it in your head.

off to meet faceless's Dad to set fire to old car tyres and shoot a few polar bears. I got the same lecture last week I've had to listen to multiple times before. There are SECRET SOCIETIES made up of GLOBALIST ELITES who are CONTROLLING THE NARRATIVE. He then 'proved' this using a little known tool called the Internet, where he Googled World Economic Forum, then pointed at the names of current and past cabinet ministers and said "see, it's not conspiracy theory, it's right there on the fucking internet". It's exhausting. Anyway, these people are the reason no one is allowed to travel more than 15 minutes from their home, why cars have now been banned (apart from EV's, which akshully cause MORE pollution), and why we were all forced to be vaccinated against our will

The Steve Hoffman forums are a good place to read about audio perversions various hi def codecs and albums. I've got a couple of unofficial binaural recordings of concerts. You can apparently tap in to the IEM that a singer or guitarist gets which some tapers do. I might have bought one binaural recording. I think it sounded fine over earphones, but it wasn't a massive revelation.
If you listen to tracks next to each other you can definitely tell the difference (sometimes), but unless you really pay attention to the recording rather than the music it makes very little difference whether it's 192/24, 96/24 or 44.1/16. You can here more in surround sound. DTS is usually a bit louder (at the same volume setting than LPCM or True HD, but it's not obviously better. And it's a level or two on the receiver only.

It's a development from the medieval Gregorian Chant, but not dissimilar to it. It's well worth listening to Officium Defunctorum by Tomas Luis De Victoria. You should be able to stream it . If you like it Palestrina is similar. It is on YouTube

The best bit of making a shepherd's pie is you get to scrape the burnt bits from around the edge of the dish with a knife and eat straight from the blade.
