Last night I played a little TD2 and we watched the news. All cheery stuff.
The pm is off today for St Andrews day. Luckily she is off to finish her Xmas shopping and won't interfere with the housework and Asda delivery. Our styles at attacking both things differ.
A tad frosty out.

Morning all!
Chilly out. -0.5 here on the south coast. The English Channel had a cold stillness about it in the morning sun.
Carblog: my usual smugness of having an always-warm car whenever I get into it (when I remember to heat it from my app) was dashed today. I had to take the cat to the vet for his castration, and the app not only failed to connect to the car, but also didn’t notify me that it had failed.
I felt like some Luddite out there, scraping the ice from the windscreen.
Leatherglovesblog: I’ve watched too many war films to see these as anything other than Nazi-officer/Gestapo apparel.
TVblog: finished the Scott Pilgrim anime last night. Enjoyed it. 4*

I ventured out in the cold to one of the less posh parts of Birmingham last night.
To see Wales' premier Lazybones impersonator Gruff Rhys.
At the Castle and Falcon pub in Balsall Heath, just outside the Ring Road.
As it was cold and the walk from the city centre is not the best I drove there. Also I don't live near a station so it is a taxi ride back or drive to the station anyway.
Gruff was very good. It was a warm up gig to promote the next album.
Recommended.
Balsall Heath not quite so recommended. It was cold and dark and scruffy. More so than is necessary. It's not any worse than by the Blues ground, but not any better.

We're due back pay from a pay rise starting 1st April that we're getting in our pay next week. Payroll have fucked up the folk in my office as we technically changed jobs in July and they've only paid out 12 weeks worth. The useless bastards.

I dont scrape the ice off the window in my van, I sit patiently while the they defrost from the air blowers, I'd like to call them heaters but they never seem to get above room temperature on my 20-40 minute delivery drive.

Maybe a little return to normality tonight, back to our home before resuming g the family visits and things later. At least the bereavement lines are answered quickly by everyone except Don - heartless shits.
And that's before trying change account details.
No games, no books and not much booze.
Any games on takeaway that don't need brain cells to progress? Hopefully ones that aren't traumatic.
