If you left, it'd be a nice place. I don’t even live in Plymouth anymore, so what’s your excuse now? As if I'm going to believe the man that supplied superglue to fix a submarine's nuclear reactor and left to join a cable company before the media got wind of it.
pfft...

I went to Plymouth for a couple of nights a few weeks ago. I didn't mention it on here in case anyone tried to attack me with a half-brick.
I quite liked the nice bits of the city, but the shit bits did look quite shit. 4*

My aunt lives in Plymouth. She says it's quite nice.

I’ve been to Plymouth twice. Once to get a ferry I think, and a second time to see Russell Brand doing stand-up. It was a surprise present, and I was very sick half-way through, because of some gluttonous eating and drinking…

I would like a proper visit to Plymouth to ‘see the sights’: A visit to Drake’s drum, a drop-in to see MrTiddles’s neigbours; maybe a short bus ride to the Ginsters factory.

I was fairly sure I saw HMS Victory at Plymouth, but the internet says it wasn’t so. Must have been the Mandela Effect.

HMS Victory is in Portsmouth. It's pretty much the only good thing in Portsmouth, now that Hong Kong Charlie's vodka bar has closed down

Unless Kens Kebabs is still there, in which case there's two reasons to visit

A couple of my mates went to uni in Plymouth. I went there a few times for heavy boozing
There used to be a studenty post pub food place that did baguettes or something. It may have been called Jakes

The gentrified dock area is nice, with all the fancy shops. I got massively ripped off there, buying a mug appropriately enough.

It's not that Shenguin has a terrible CD collection, but I already own almost all of the good stuff he owns. There might be a couple of folk CDs. I do not want any of the Whipping Boy or James or Tim Booth solo stuff.

I suppose it is possible Shenguin has a load of white label 12"s from bands who turned down Warp Records as it wasn't cool enough/ was too commercial.

OTTM: I have a sore throat. I may not make it. Whisky, hot water and lemon. Pick your orifice, Two weeks leave has not gone the way thought, I would suggest carrying some sort of id at all times to just stop issues if you suddenly drop dead, it seems father in law had to be matched to the missing person report to work out who he was after heart attack in public, he had taken daughter for a walk and no idea where she had been for the hours they were missing.

And whine as well, that is always one of my go-to treatments. I always carry my id with me.
