That Metro game last night looked fantastic. I can't remember if it is XboX Xclusive though.. It was a pretty good conference for people already with XBi but not much seemed exclusive, so not much motivation to pick one up. Oh and Sekiro (Tenchu?) looked lovely. Glad it wasn't blood borne 2.
Never thought I'd say this but looking forward to Ubisoft tonight

I'm waiting to get called into the exam hall, summer starts in just over 3 hours (although weather-wise it seems to be over already).
I was looking forward to getting a good few hours into yakuza 6,but now feel compelled to return to nier now that I'll not be able to rub it in the faces of Xbox owners much longer.
On an unrelated note, who are the Xbox owners in here?

Very easy even is there an extremely easy option? There's a "I'm too young to die" option. And even on that I cannot beat the Cyberdemon. The too young to die option won't apply to Shenguin. |

Good luck with that exam! Hope it's not one of those 3 hour ones in a crowded room where the windows don't open properly and the blinds don't work while the sun is beating down and the gardeners decide that it's time to mow the lawn outside the exam venue. I've seen it all.
Perfect beer weather when you get out, though.

Bit more Dark Souls. Finally made it to the bonfire in blighttown. It's quite a good game.

I also need to visit The Duke's Archives for a channeler's trident and do in the Four Kings to see Kaathe. I may need to upgrade a few swords as well. I've pencilled in the platinum trophy ceremony for Tomorrow night or Wednesday. |

Looks like (i.e. reddit says) that Xbox "Project Scarlet" will be out in 2020 with PS5 also out around then. On the one hand this would mean existing consoles should fall in price next year, on the other be prepared to fork out circa £500 for a new console in 2020. I expect most of you will blindly flock to PS5.

Mid- gen upgrades again? Hopefully not, but it's looking likely. As for which I'm likely to pick up, it'll be whichever has the best launch exclusives. But, as I prefer RPGs to FPS and racing, it'll likely be PS for me. Unless Xbox diversify a bit. There's a long time to go yet, mind. Plenty of time for things to change. |

I just walked past some little blue flowers growing next to the pavement and thought "oh, blue mountain flowers! Better pick these, they are good for health potions" before I stopped myself. I'm obviously far too young and impressionable to be playing video games.
As I said, I'm waiting to hear whether the PS5 is backwards compatible and then I'm either really late to the PS4 or incredibly early to the PS5 party. My current backlog could see me comfortably through the next 30 years.
