Anyone else at work and sober? Shenguin at work? Sorry, not sober. And apart from a couple of hours on Thursday, a difficult phone call on Friday, and an hour or so this morning, I haven't worked since Wednesday night.

I keep meaning to go to the bus stop up the road from mine. You can see it and it takes an inordinate amount of time for folk to get on. I wonder what the cunts do? Time to crack some skulls! Though not today obviously as I'm poorly. Have I mentioned that?
Morning! The train to town was thankfully 2 mins late which meant I made it.
Horrid wet day. Bags of Xmas presents double wrapped to drop off.
Games. Gran Turismo. Both against the computer & online. Trying to just follow the raceline and stay on the track. The amount of folk who rage quit as they're going too fast, spin off, end up last is constantly 2 to 3 a race. Snowflakes.
Praying there are some pig'n'blankets rolls left in pret.

#pigsinbkanketsciabatta for the win.
Overnight oats is all very well, doesn't raise your cholesterol or have too much salt and nitrates... But...
ottm. Glasgow Central seems a bit quieter today. Folk perhaps winding down or WFH.

Saw the latest Raiders film on Disney+, much better than the Crystal Skull still too long, too many chase scenes but not bad overall. 4*

How many times is the Grauniad going to go on about the "‘elitist’ format of University Challenge"?
Did their team lose a celebrity match?

At the time University Challenge started, 1962, there were fewer than 30 universities in the UK, so presumably the format made sense. Now, according to the article in the G, there are over 200. So it does seem a tad elitist to keep on counting sub-university institutions with very small student bodies (eg Corpus Christi Oxford, c.350) as equivalent to others like Manchester which are very large (over 40,000 students).

Morning blogends
Games? No Fillums? No Tv? Reacher. Watching a 6ft 4 slab of muscle trying to emote is quite the thing. Good fun though. Also some wheel of time. Present wrapping? Too much.

Have you met WeeCooper?
He's shaved his head these days and says he has shrunk a bit.. The first time I met him he was 6'8" with a Mohican. When he stood up the effect was impressive. Especially next to LQL who is about 5'7" at a push and scrawny.

Ra ra ra, we're going to smash the oiks!
Morning cheese fans!
I'm back on the Wensleydale. Picked up a nice wedge from Tesco. Sweet. Also some Xmas pickles, piccalilli, cornichons, pickled onions and beetroot.
Just counting down the days until I finish work on Friday. Might go ultra aggressive and put my out of office on early. Maybe Wednesday?
OTTM, nope

Day is all backwards, sleep at 4am, relax and then work this evening. No booze or TV, a little starim pottering. Not got hooks like Skyrim. Might switch to cyberpunk version 2 and see what the updates are like.
