What are the best non-Christmas films to watch at Christmas?
I have a list.
1. Gremlins
2. Excalibur
3. Ghostbusters
4. E.T
5. Star Wars
6, Batman Returns
7. Aliens
8. The Empire Strikes Back
I know Gremlins is kind of a Christmas film, but it’s a film that could be watched at any time of the year whilst still having a Christmas background. I mean there’s no Christmas message. I don’t know … I feel maybe Gremlins falls between camps …

I’ve just been watching Aquaman. I liked it but then Aquaman seemed to dishonorably run away from a duel. Then I fell asleep and it’s still going on. Not a punchy script. Now Ghostbusters. That’s got a punchy script.
I could really do with a amuse bouche.
