I'm sure it is. Seeing the trailers and not having to rush through a fucking shopping centre is also nice. When you've had about 4 cups already that day you you fucking perhaps forego one in order to be on time |

I went out to buy some cheese, tangerines, mince pies and pickled gherkins. I came back and poured myself a glass of sherry then … I looked outside and saw something with a strange colour profile in the garden. It was half of the dead squirrel the pm had seen a week ago.
A bad business - bloated and sodden by rain. Almost jellified. I had to remove it.

Beefeater drama! Sent chicken back because 1) it wasn't chargrilled but more importantly, 2) it was lukewarm/cold, Pref.Mam.'s lasagne wasn't hot either, 2 new meals turned up and were fine.
So maybe not such a drama.

I know someone else in the Brighton Hove area who seems to have fallen out of contact. Maybe there’s been a critical incident in the area. Hard not to imagine Amipal as the critical incident. A day of indignities and petty slights followed by the overhearing of a young mother asking her son if he’d like to go to the movies. Four injured. Three feared dead.

I’m fine, thank you. Aside from the bad back, which seems to be shifting around and not staying in one place. I may see about getting an appointment with a general practitioner in the new year.
We had visitors early, whose party includes a child of similar age for the boy to play with. Volume up to eleven.
Afterwards, he sat and watched Totoro - so I tooo my leave and carried on painting/prepping some wargames terrain. Something a little different for the end of year period.
