The instructions for removing / cleaning the oven glass is to remove the oven door and then remove the glass. Good instructions and easy to do. For putting the door back on the instructions are not so good. Panic then set in. How can you use an oven without a door. In the end found you had to push really really hard. Ignore the creaking sounds that it was going to break and shatter and that it was all going to end in tears. Shan't be doing that again.

I had a dream last night that my oven needed cleaning and was really smokey. But in reality our oven broke a few days ago, so obviously doesn't need cleaning. In your fucking face subconscious!
I also recently fixed the dishwasher. The outflow hose had developed a leak. I changed it, which involved taking three panels off the dishwasher, and lots of swearing. I used a cable tie instead of a jubilee clip to secure the new hose inside the machine.

PM gave our oven the post-roast degrease using a damp cloth and her new wonder-product, wood-ash. Did the job just as well as our standard oven-cleaner, and in half the time.
Where will it end? Thankfully she's no Gwyneth Paltrow....

My oven is surprisingly clean. I had a new one 3 years ago, but because I have an air fryer I don't use the oven much.
Also when I did have a dish splash on it before Xmas I actually cleaned it.
