It’s the 11th day. The 11th day of Christmas.
A time for figgy pudding. A time of gifts, and song, and wishes for the new year.

hi I don’t know when our bins are collected. We have two big metal bins in a sort of ‘bin stable’ at the front of the block of flats. I have occasionally seen a bin lorrry reversing down the utility road behind our flat, but I wouldn’t be able to say on what day … Does your rubbish leave your dwelling down a chute or similar?

It does but the wise resident (taps nose) saves time by going out the front and slinging it into the bin through the door. There is the risk of seeing pedestrians or getting wet feet when doing it this way.

I've gone full Labour council treasurer and blown my whole 2024 budget within 4 days in the Steam sale. Got Dave The Diver & Dredge in a bundle for £27.07.
I'll never play them.

I'm considering buying Dredge and not playing it after recently watching a YouTube video of Limmy not playing it. Let me know how you don't get on with it.

I have downloaded a stash of albums by Euros Childs the singer from Gorky's Zygotic Mynci*. I liked Gorky's back in the day. They were no Super Furry Animals but they were decent.
All from his website for a very nice price. I will give him some money next week. I think there are 22 albums. I'll be a while ploughing through them. Chops is fine. Welsh folk pop. I am enjoying it. 21similar albums may be a lot though.
* And current keyboard player with Teenage Fanclub.

I'm considering buying Dredge and not playing it after recently watching a YouTube video of Limmy not playing it. Let me know how you don't get on with it. I've just spent an hour not playing it. I can imagine if I'd played it then I would find it fun and quite addictive, particularly if I liked collecting stuff, upgrading and inventory management. I can certainly see how other people who don't play it might... (drum roll) ... get hooked! (comedy snare Cymbal) 4* would recommend.

I don’t think I’ll buy Dave the Diver. The commodification of the name ‘Dave’ really grinds my gears.
