I have booked a trip to BIG London for Monday. Exciting. I wanted to go at the weekend, but there were no tickets to the British Library exhibition.
Iron Dragon To Euston
British Library at 12.30
British Museum at 15:30
Iron Dragon home at some point in the evening.
Assuming I haven't bought all the books at the BL/BM I might go to the LRB bookshop and/or Waterstones in Piccadilly. Though I have already been stung for the Life in the Legion book.
Remarkably it is no more expensive to go by train (off peak)than driving, though I'll need to drive from the local station so boozing is not an option. Also both the BL and BM are close to Euston so it is convenient.

I'm on some "rights of the child" training this afternoon. I have my GB News t-shirt and I'm ready to point out children have too many rights these days and being smacked didn't do me any harm. Or being left outside the pub with a cola and crisps.

Are the BL able to sell stuff? Those pesky hackerz etc It was mostly a joke about buying books from a library. They are selling tickets online now and you can buy from the gift shop in person. |
