And as a bonus talking point of great interest and excitement, I'm off work tomorrow. Going out for lunch for a belated birthday meal. Even though I'll peruse the menu and the specials board, I know deep down I'm going to pick the full English breakfast. The place we're going to does the best one EVER. Croydon 'Spoons? |

The best spoons (if it's still there) is a MASSIVE one in Bristol I used to go in when I worked there for a short while (Bristol, not spoons). In a grand old building which I think was a bank, maybe a Midland/HSBC. Pwoper nawty steaks on a Tuesday night Steak night. |

I remember The Commercial Rooms. It was new when I lived in Bristol. There was a similar pub almost next door which I think is a cocktail bar now.
The Commercial Rooms was ok.
It was one of the pubs we used to go to in the city centre. I also liked the Rummer, the Voddy Shop was nearby as well. I was not a fan but some of my friends liked it.
The best pubs were The Three Sugar Loaves on the Christmas Steps and The Llandoger Trow on King Street. They were both a bit shabby. I haven't been out in Brizzle for ages.
Last time it was all new places filled with young people.
Anyway the best spoons in Bristol was on Clifton Triangle. The one that had previously been a shopping centre.
Edit Two pubs! No 31 Corn Street and The Wig & Pen. No 31 is the one I was thinking of. A former Llloyds bank. Both No 31 and The Wig and Pen are now (s)wanky bars according to the internet

I played a bit more Warzone last night. I'm enjoying it. More than I do Fortnite. In saying that, I'm probably not as aggressive in Fortnite. Maybe it's the styling of the game.
I've got home made Butter Chicken the pm's mum brought down for dinner.
I got a pair of Clarks Desert Boots in an Amazon lightning sale. They've just arrived. They were 1/3 of what you'd pay from Clarks. Probably fake and made of Papier mache.

I am ok. I’m hoping to be able to get a train, soon, to Belgium. Pumped! I also lifted something that had been weighing heavily on me, in a work sense.
