I was just in a branch of Itsu, eating noodle soup. A man sat next to me who seemed to be an academic (I don’t want to make assumptions). I did make assumptions. I think he was wearing a shirt and a v-neck jumper. He could have worked in administration … The man caught my attention because he had a newspaper. ‘Who reads newspapers nowadays?’ I thought. I looked and it was the Daily Star. He opened the paper onto page 3, placed it on the table, put his food tub under the photo of the woman in underwear and began to eat. His face was down, his mouth was eating from the tub and his eyes were drinking in the image on the page. Keef? Gary Rowett? |

I've been at work since 08.30 this morning. I have another hour or so to go. Mr Cold Virus seems to he thriving, I can't work out why he's not as knackered and blah as I feel.

Dudlai is proper black country. It's a lot stronger than a Brummie accent and they use more dialect. A more typical Silhillian would sound more like Howard from the Halifax ads.
