As it's sunny (but chilly) again today I'm going to do some more pottering in le jardin.

I originally pre-ordered it about a year before it came out as I expected I might be back to working away regularly (like I did pre-coldvid scamdemic). I previously used to take a mini snes. So, when it came to paying for it (just before they ship), I was going to cancel as I knew I wasn't going to work away. But, as I'm just a console peasant with no Master race monster rig, I thought I'd still get it. I mostly have it hooked up to my work monitor on my work desk, mostly. Tldr: lovely bit of kit, buy one. Think someone else on here has one too, maybe Terry? |

My issue with the steam deck is that my child like hands don't reach the back paddles. It would annoy me they were there and I couldn't use them.
I'd get an Asus Rog Ally if I had the cash as I could reach the paddles on it.

Morning paddle reachers!
I indeed does have an esteemed deck. It is mostly for playing games without telly, although there are quite a few PC games that aren't on PS5 that you can play on it. You can also run most emulators on it, so if you wanted to play Super Mario Land 2 you could.
In other news, I've been getting none stop adverts for mushrooms, adaptogens, and nootropics on Facebook. I think it's basically coffee with mushrooms in, except all the adverts are trying to besmirch the good name of coffee. And it comes in a fancy pouch/canister thing, along with quotes from all and sun dried saying that it changed their life and they never drink coffee again.
What happened to good old butter in your Nescafe?

I knew there was an update coming. I am now wondering if I need a Steamdeck to not play Fallout 4 on. I don't think i do, but it's possible. I might see if my Steamlink still works one London is finally released. |
