I haven’t been up to much recently. I played Helldivers yesterday (keeping it games related). I also spent more time than I should looking at the Trading212 app. If I were to cash it all in I’d be £15 down. The £10 I’ve invested in the Chinese high-rise developer had pretty much disappeared. I also put £50 into a Canadian recreational cannabis firm. A bad business. Quite literally. The share price is tumbling. It’s an interesting exercise. I would like to make some Big Dough, though, or at least make a five percent return.

Telly etc? Rings of Power is nonsense. A billion dollars on sets and a fiver on the scripts. 4 stars.
I've been watching a lot of Seinfeld-related interviews on YouTube. It's amusing how method Michael Richards seems to be - talks about the whole thing as if it was brain surgery, while the rest of them just reminisce about the lolz. 4 stars.
Also been immersed in Limmy's 4-hour dissections of classic episodes of 3-2-1. Liked and subscribed for more. 4 stars.

Very sunny out. WFH.
I've just cleared out stuff from the bottom of my wardrobe. Mainly so the child's prom dress would go in there.
"Your wardrobe is the only one with space" was the cry. I cleared out crap from the bottom - ADSL modem anyone? - and hoovered it. Old grinder?
Put the dress in.
That's the child's dress in my wardrobe now I told the pm. "Not crushed is it?"
"You were the fucking one who said my wardrobe had space" is me paraphrasing* my retort.
Games. Fallout 76. Pack of wild wolves you say. Ran into a building where an NPC helped me kill them. Trying to get the blueprint for a roof for my shelter.

Yes thanks - it basically just started working properly after a couple of days and now seems fine. The Sonos doesn't seem to like it, but even managed to get that connected after factory resetting the speaker five or six times. The Sonos app is terrible. |

Rings of Power - I tried so hard to stick with it, but gave up after about 5 episodes. Just dull. Like my face. Maybe I'll give it another try.

I quite like dull things and I enjoyed Rings of Power for the most part.
The bits with the hobbits and Gandalf (?) were mostly poor.
Celebrimbor was a berk as well. He needed much more gravitas.
I am looking forward to 7 more series of dull exposition, passable acting, spectacular sets and the occasional battle.
Followed by a separate Silmarillion series.
Also New Line is making more films filling in completely unnecessary bits of backstory.
I am absolutely comfortable with this so long as everything is released in multiple variations and unnecessarily expensive 4K box sets I don't see the problem.
