I also got a call from my GP this morning. Apparently I don’t have Hepatitis C. I did have it but now I don’t. The constitution of a lion. Not my words. Not their words either in fairness. So you won't be the one who starts the zombie apocalypse? (changes spreadsheet) I'm glad you are ok LZ..

Congrats on dodging that bullet. (Namaste hand gesture) Although you could say … I got hit by the bullet, my body absorbed the bullet, and then it dissolved it …

Paraorchestra with Brett Anderson, Nadine Shah and Gwenno
This was excellent. It could have been longer, but they only had the songs from the album. One of which was played twice. It was much more relaxed then most concerts and Brett talked about the songs as did Charles Hazlewood a bit/ It made for a top gig. I wouldn't want every one to be like that, but it is good to hear the song choices explained. It was cheap as well. I think I paid £30, but that included a £5 donation to something, Obviously the cost of a trip to London and a coke at the venue made it a lot dearer.
It could have possibly had more Nadine and Gwenno. They only appeared for 3 songs. I have a lot of time for them. Le Kov is far and away the best Cornish language album I own.
The support act was proper bobbins. Experimental jazz poetry. It was one 30 minute piece. The actual music was ok, (Sax, bass drums) but the poetry was a bit odd. Some sort of fantasy piece about a great wizard and a farmer who had fought in a war. Except the words were much worse than that sounds It reminded me of the sort of amateur group that visits primary schools and puts on a piece for them. Still only the second worst support act I have seen this year Four stars

Lazybones that's fantastic news. I'd buy a Euromillions ticket for Friday as well if I were you.

"Le Kov is far and away the best Cornish language album I own." That is one hell of sentence. 4* It's definitely true as I only own 1 Cornish Language album. Gwenno is really good. Mostly sings in English, but with a few Welsh songs and a Cornish album It's about the ambience rather than understanding the words. There is a translation of them, but I've never listened to the album with the translation. There was a load of stuff I bought during the first lockdown. Different genres Things I wouldn't normally listen to. Most of it was pretty good, I don't necessarily listen to all of it much.

Morning all!
After work yesterday, I managed to tweak my back by simply having a stretch. Still causing issues today.
TVblog: finished the fourth series of B5. Now onto the rather-average fifth series.
Warhammerblog: had an introductory game of 2nd edition 40k against a friend who plays the current 10th edition. He bloody loved it - seems like we have a convert!

Last night was sausage night, tremendous. Sainsbury's Taste the Difference 93% pork ones. Only 8 more to scoff.
Will my colon survive? Prace Blet now!

Boom!
Its Tazza. The Tangler. The Terrence.
Vim is back at optimal levels
Gams - Age one Wonders 4 (four). I'm a dwarven ruler plying my trade in the city of Stronghold. Got into a battle with some thralls. My armies seem to be getting more powerful without me doing anything. It is completely incomprehensible, especially on a small steam deck screen where a lot of the writing is too (2) small. 4 stars.
Also gams - Final Fantasy XVI. Moribund. No use of the word 'aught'.

Non-Fallout related games chat: Dave the Diver. Gave that a go. It reviewed well, and featured in a few 'best games of 2023' lists. I gave up after about 20 minutes. Rubbish Anyone played it? Does it get better? I bought Dave The Diver and Dredge in a steam sale. Played loads of Dredge (it's great) but only a quick half an hour on DTD so can't really say. Hope this helps.

Morning
I'd never heard of Trading212 until Lazy mentioned it. Last night I was watching YewToob videos of berks playing RDR2 and I had adverts for them (Trading212). Is Lazybones controlling the algorithms?
Lunchblog - turkey and red onion sandwich, posh wanker crisps from M&S (sea salt & sherry vinegar).
OTTM, As I'm easily influenced, I fell for an advert selling 'fancy' peanuts called 'VIP nuts' from a company called 'New York Delhi' . They have just been delivered by the great lads at Yodel. A box of 20 packs with 7 different flavors. Review to follow.

Had a not very interesting conversation with Tootsie earlier. She? was explaining that there would be some noise from her property as a chap would be fitting a shelving unit in the living room. He was, apparently, not only her stepdad but also her grandad, "I just call him Martin, though."
Confused? You will be.

BabyF's brother is Tootsies step-dad? Doesn't that mean that BabyF is Tootsie? Or was serenaded by Sockpuppet. Or both

BabyF's brother is Tootsies step-dad? Doesn't that mean that BabyF is Tootsie? Or was serenaded by Sockpuppet. Or both Ahh, yes. All the pieces are falling into place. BabyF, Sockpuppetpseudonym, Tootsie, Martin and Muffrat are sex perverts and they've got The Lad (Scubar) chained to a radiator in their sex dungeon in Plymouth. Great work, chatterbox, another case closed.
