So much for looking at Scottish politics and thinking it was better than down here. Tbf he's resigning because he's been unable to keep his coalition together. That's pretty much a feature of PR electoral systems. If it was FPTP he'd have 90% of the seats and could do whatever he liked. Still, it does seem that he's played the game spectacularly badly.

North or south of the border, they are all a bunch of self serving corrupt scumbags who would sell their own granny for a promotion and/or money.
We need a Yorkshire Indy Ref.
Get. Yexit. Done.

What currency will you be using? Black Sheep bottle caps? Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire Puddings?

Had a conversation with a work colleague, where they mentioned the Mr Men books/characters. All par for the course, only when she said "Mr Men" she put the emphasis on the 'men' rather than 'Mr'. When I tried to clarify, by saying it with emphasis on the 'mister' she said I was saying it wrong. I was fairly sure I was saying it the correct way, but I've just realised that if talking about the Litte Miss characters, I'd emphasise the 'Miss'. I am now conflicted But if you emphasise the ‘Mister’ and emphasise the ‘Miss’ then your delivery is consistent. I would do the same. Though for an individual character I would emphasise the quality, I think. The second part of the name.

Who here keeps going on about making butter chicken?
Does said denizen have an easily copy-and-pastable recipe that they could share with the group?
It wouldn’t mind trying it.

Rumour>fully acquitted of all charges Tbf again, one reason HY has resigned seems to be that he has refused to do a deal with the Alba party (aka Salmond). I think that's what the 'compromising my principles' line refers to.

I regularly make it, I use The Spicery recipe which uses 3 pre-made curry blends from their website. I wholeheartedly recommend getting their "Curry legends" recipe book which should arrive with a set amount of pre- made blends. The Butter Chicken is amazing.

Killed it with the shittest type of curry. Bitter Chicken is for children and the mentally feeble. Have a proper curry, for god's sake.

Killed it with the shittest type of curry. Bitter Chicken is for children and the mentally feeble. Have a proper curry, for god's sake. I normally do. But the boy, bless his not-100%-cotton-socks, isn’t quite up to the heat of the spicier curries out there.

Is butter nice? Yes.
Butter on a baked potato - lovely. But if you don’t layer it with crazy spice then it’s children’s food for Shengers.

I haven’t ever had butter chicken but I’d happily eat the creamiest korma imaginable.
