What a beautiful day!
More Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen. Investigated a well and killed some monsters. Went to Witchwood to look for someone, but it's a bit foggy and scary. Also, some apparition took me to Bitterblack Isle. I left immediately after the Internet People™ suggested this was where you go after completing the main game (ie the DLC). Also, some young lady asked me to escort her to The Encampment, so I did, then she asked for 1,000 gold, which I handed over. Nothing. Not even a phone number.
OTTM, I wonder if Cranks body has been found yet?

Morning all!
My decrepitude continues apace. I seem to have garnered new symptoms with each passing day since Wednesday.
Yesterday afternoon, I had to take to my bed for an hour or so - all vim and vigour had departed, and I needed to be horizontal.
PM made some chicken soup for me, which was life-giving. I could feel the warmth of it permeating every cell of my body.

Wargamesblog: my Stug III is finished, and I’ve begun construction of an Sdkfz.234. Also been painting six German Grenadiers. Bolt Action games will happen in the near future…

The story so far is a man goes into a vault, then comes out and there's been a nuclear apocalypse, which he pretty much shrugs off. He then basically just becomes a hired killer for whoever happens to ask |

The biggest problem with Fallout 4 is it is Fallout 3.5.
It took them 7 years to basically make a large mod/dlc.
The one big change -base building- makes the game worse.
The settlements are just a pain. You have to do everything for them. You aren't even allowed to kill everyone.
Clearly that is because given the option everyone would shoot or stab Preston at the first encounter.
Ithought it was too familar. It's the fourth or fifth game Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim, Fallout NV (which wasn't a Bethesda game) built on the same engine.The basics don't vary from game to game, just the skins.
I am hopeful TES6 and Fallout 5 will benefit from a serious rethink. But I suspect that is overly optimistic. They will be the same game but with more pixels.

I have Fallout 4. Maybe I should give it another go. I seem to recall it took me ages (not to mention wasted hours) to realise that bottlecaps were currency.
