Quiet this morning
Games
Two games of Fortnite. One win, one second.
That was 3 wins in a row which makes mw a 1 in 250,000 player as two of them were duos games.
I was very close to winning the second game as well. A tiny bit better coordination* with Shenguin and we would have won.

It's a good game, but very annoying in parts. Some of the design choices are poor.

Cool and grey out.
West London was weird, they seem to build high rise modern flats in every available space which costs millions each. As you drive away the whole area looks like a weird crystal city.

A massive number of blocks have gone up in recent years.
They were just starting when I moved out in 2010.
There are loads of them round Wembley and round Westfield Shepherd's Bush.
The prices are horrendous as well. I'm sure mostly they are 'investments' not owner occupiers.

Nothing much to report. Raining here. Good for the garden, eh?
Gamesblog: the PS2 is plugged into the TV via the GBS-C, so we’ve all been playing Burnout 3. Booya!
TVblog: finished Green Wing, which has introduced “oh my fucksy” back into my vocabulary.
Other than that, still working my way through the final series of B5. There are some good episodes in there, it just doesn’t hang together as well as the previous three series.
Whammerblog: another game of 2nd ed 40k versus my 10th-ed-versed-friend. He’s really enjoying the 30 year old rules, and we had a fantastic game. More planned for the future.

I live in west London. Community vibes. The people are the salt of the earth.
There aren’t many tower blocks near me. There was / is Grenfell. Most of the super-rich dig down rather than build up. Town-houses seven stories under the ground.

TuffersI'll send you some links in a bit. Retroarch is probably your best bet. In the meantime, have a look here for some roms: archive.org/download/retro-roms-best-setIf you want switch and more modern stuff it's slightly more tricky, but very do-able.

I haven’t played many games recently. I’ve downloaded the EA Sports football game on PS Plus and might go in to see if I can create a 47 year old player with my name and likeness. The best 47 year old possible.
