I've been influenced by the 'box again. I'm currently listening to Chinese Democracy. Never heard it before, mainly because it got absolutely slated at the time
So far....I quite like it

Never heard it before, mainly because it got absolutely slated at the time So far....I quite like it It's not awful, just mediocre. The songs are too long and overblown. It should not have taken 15 years and cost $13m to record. There are multiple versions of almost every song. Over 15 years as people joined and left Axl rerecorded every part with every new member. There's a multi cd bootleg with these versions on it They sound functionally identical. It's absolutely insane. I suppose when your first 3 albums sold 50m+ copies and you made millions from touring and merchandise it's a way to spend some of the cash.

April 2025 is far too distant to book anything. I need to check the fixture list before deciding on anything. All concerts should only take place on days when it is guaranteed there is no football. So outside the season or on the same day as the later rounds of cups is fine.
No TayTay ticket, but I am seeing Bernard Butler on Tuesday. Infinitely more glamorous.

I'm watching Sir Harold and his knights (sans Big Harold of Maguire) versus Iceland (the shop).
Oh. Iceland have just scored.
Wokegate out!

I've played my Scotch heritage card and have turned over to BBC3 to watch my boys give the Fins a damn good bashing.
Name. On. The. Trophy.

I'm mildly leathered watching a bit of the Stones 1972 American Tour. Big Mick hawkin' it as per. I really would have loved to see them in that period.
Played some SNES Bubble Bobble and Arkanoid. Gonna start one of the 2DS Zeldas I think.

Ha! I saw that was on telly tonight. A young Tuffers Solo makes an appearance. Alas, like a dimwit I've taped Meg 2, which I'm watching after HIGNFY And today's Euros athletics on iplayer.
