The Jetty. We watched two episodes of that. Can let me know how it finishes. Anything with Jenna Coleman in it can't be bad. I'm not sure that logic holds up I can't think what else I've seen her in. She does have very nice hair in this. It doesn't move though. Even of it's raining or she's running, her hair stays exactly in place. Now I've noticed it it's bothering me |

I'm a Starbucks man through and through. Costa is awful.
Lympics last night. That horse in the rain went on for ages. I'll take my top off. Sorry I'm rambling.
Last time I was in Paris I saw a madman jump in the river. He was quite literally in seine. In the river seine.

The food is better in Starbucks than Costa generally.

I am not watching the Olympics. Instead I'm watching some shite on iplayer about a copper who's trying to cover up the fact her dead husband might have been a nonce. It's terrible. Costa coffee is pretty watery, but I do not like having to give my name to the Starbucks people. Feels overly personal for a brief commercial transaction.

I prefer Costa to Starbucks, but I prefer Caffe Nero to them both.
Pret A Manger I’m not sure about. The pastries are delicious, the coffee is ok, but the paper cups diminish the ‘sit-in’ experience.

There was a blind taste test article in the G a few years ago and Caffè Nero was the clear winner. Back when proper investigative journalism was still possible.

I think I over-caffeinated myself for too many years. Started getting heart palpitations, sweats, twitchy eyelids, all sorts of fun stuff. God I miss caffeine |

These days, I only drink decaf tea & booze. Gave up caffeine about 10 years ago.*
* Withdrawal symptoms: Niggly little headache between the eyebrows for 3 days, that was it.

Black Sheep is my new favourite chain for coffee. Certainly the one in GLC is decent. If you buy a bag of overpriced beans from them they give you a free takeaway coffee as well.
