Well I removed my CPU, then refitted and once again added thermal paste and refitted the damn fan.
At first the red light was gone completely, I was happy. Then towards the end of a game of PUBG it briefly came on.

Right then. Pumped up the tyres on ze Subaru (£2 - broken Britain) and fitted a new rear light cluster, which was flippin' easy.

Less is more with thermal paste. A thin sliver covering it.

"Crank, your support powers independent climate journalism"
I mean, I have just walked to the supermarket and back.
Though I did purchase burgers.

Killed it. Like the Fresians my burgers are made of.
Supposed to be sunny all weekend. Last gasp of summer here before the schools go back. Trying to persuade the fam to go to Rothesay.
Might have to be Sunday though which is a bit shit for Ferries.

Just seen a message asking what happened as I dont message as much.
I was promoted, quickly in my new dept (only there a year now I am a senior). Have massive imposter syndrome, people say I am doing well but feel out of my depth.
Did save another department 500 to 700 hours of manual work when I pointed out there was an easier way the system could automatically do the task. Probably my biggest work related usefulness ever.
When I first started using the Guardian I was in a dead end, boring job. You guys made it bareable so thanks for that.

Lonewolf lives, hooray. Does the intern still live/function/work?
Any of the above might be better than some names that get seen at my work. Also driving for a commute is the most dangerous part of the day apart from waking up or not.

Went into hospital this morning at 7.30am for knee replacement surgery. Last on the list 3pm. Have an insect bite on my leg and because of that they cancelled my operation at 2.30pm. Was not happy. But having looked at surgery and insect bites it can cause all sorts of problems including losing the leg. So I'm now pleased it was noticed.

Hi! I bought a Steam Deck the other day as the next stage of my midlife crisis. Not sure what madness beckons next, maybe a Nutribullet or a mid-spec digital watch? Pray 4 me. I have a Nutribullet. I didn’t use it a lot when I first got it. Now … I love an opportunity to pulverise food into a rich and nutritious paste.

amipal I let an ID.3 out of a side road today, it looked fine (apart from the beige colour). Must have been a new model (strip rear lights), unlike the occupants who were quite, quite old.
