An SMS from a Yemeni mobile number telling me my Evri parcel can't be delivered and I need to fill in a form. Didn't tap the URL but it's probably that Rocket Propelled Grenade I ordered from the Houthis.

I decided to update Fortnite and it took 7 bloody hours. A fraction of that will be the actual game, the rest bloated cinematic scenes, skins and other cosmetics I have no interest in and my hacked personal data being sent to China.

King Kong 2 isn’t too bad. He does a lot of wandering about the American countryside, pining for his giant gorilla girlfriend from whom he has been separated. He has a bionic heart so you’re not quite sure if he’s super-powerful or needs to be careful about exerting himself. At the moment he’s exerting himself. amipal (from yesterday) It is the season of ear malaise, for me … I’m going to the ear clinic on Thursday …. |

We still have after-work drinks at my work. Not that often, and not everyone does it. Mainly the people who like after-work drinks.

The Guardian ‘Pass-notes’ is always poor, but mainly because it’s trying to be funny. This one also seems to have the genuine message - ‘Don’t drink with your friends after work’.
To ne honest it was the first part that wound me up. No-one should make drinking a Nigel Farage thing. Nigel Farage is trying to make it a Nigel Farage thing. People shouldn’t let him.
