It's very cool today, I don't think that's a bad thing.

Ass Creed Valhalla is on Game Pass, any good? Very, very, long. My pal put 200hrs into it and didn't complete it. If you're interested in Norse lore etc then go for it. Hot longboat action. Some nice arrow action. Essentially free for you so give it a go.

I've been playing "Still wakes the deep" ...an oil rig manned by polite mannered Scots. As far as I can tell when they refer to Bahookie it's to call each other and arsehole.

Morning
I went to south-east London yesterday with my 1,968 best friends. Not the glamorous bit of SE London. The gap bit between between the O2, Woolwich and Greenwich. It was too hot. 26C at 7.30 pm. Also I did not get home until just before 1am. On the plus side we won, which is nice.
I have spent this morning in a meeting with a wealthy client who is also a loudmouth. Fortunately there was another adviser there as well, but even so he is hard work for 2.5 hours.

I did not war a tie. Or a suit. The traditional protection for an accountant. It's much less formal these days. If I wish to intimidate people I have to talk about technical stuff. Apparently there is a way of presenting yourself as an an accountant which can be used to scare people. It is a good skill. I have only known a few clients who are resistant to it. Usually they are qualified accountants themselves. The I am a a big scary accountant and my numbers will hunt you down and find out everything you have ever done wrong trick does not work on accountants.

Quelle surprise, stolen. Get it repatriated asap, and you can drop the Elgin marbles off in Elgin while you're at it.

Just watched the Deadpool movie again and I liked it more second time around, I saw 2 Wrexham references and one may not have been, the other you had to look for as I didn't spot it first time. Really need to see at the flix rather than wait* to watch on TV Also watching Jennifer Garner as Electra, Wesley Snipes as Blade and Dafne Keen as X23** turn up was rad.
**I don't know much about Gambit.
*or not

The last date for a valid claim was 30 June 2024. Unlucky to have missed it by such a small gap after 4,500 years.

I've got the Network transfer working on Sexybot to Sexybot+ at a whopping 1.76Mbps. No idea why though. Should be ready for Christmas.

The child has come home with a couple of logins the school provided. The one for Google classroom or Glow is not a glow or Google classroom login.
Ottm. Lovely bit of Politik by the Scottish Govt earlier today. "Yeah we have to cancel winter fuel payments for pensioners as we need the money to pay for local Govt pay rises". Putting one group against another. Marvellous work John.
