My son completed his first Roblox game yesterday, Mr Wiggles or some shit. He'll be on the Fortnite squad soon.
An entire day of meetings, I'm doing Friday wrong.

The TV series was good though Bit overrated for me, seemed to be the standard zombie fare that has been done to death already.

I guy at work told me that he is thinking of moving to Glasgow. He must really hate himself Great nightlife, great restaurants, can be in the country in 20mins. Fastest rising (or one of) rent since COVID, weather not for everyone. Lots of friendly locals / lots of bams.

TLOU is brilliant. I'm looking forward to the PS6 version so I can buy it for the 4th time.
What are your top games to play on the Steam Deck? Hit me, I need some inspiration and it's payday.
Ottm Excellent display at the newsagents yesterday: every single paper with Israel/Hezbollah on the front page except for the local rag, in massive capitals: 'COUNCIL CHANGES BIN DAY. FULL STORY INSIDE'.

I moved to Glasgow once, but that was before I hated myself.
4 stars.

I hope they changed it to Wednesday, the proper bin day.

Giving Baldy's Grate another go. Or will do in a few hours when it's re downloaded. Probly get stuck at the same point due to not being gud enuff. Did you duff up the final boss on The Bisto Protocol? I got to him yesterday with naff all health and got instantly battered time and time again.
However, I had a great time stabbing blind mutant zombies in the back and through the bonce. Then stamping on their bodies. Top banana.
Think I got stuck at the first boss.

I wanted to like TLOU, and I tried to play it a few times, but it was too difficult and I kept dying. I think I was about 80% of the way through it, and there was a bit I just couldn't get through, so I gave up.
TLDR: I'm boring and over-rated etc etc.

Other Ganes: I recently played Bioshock Infinite. It was fine. I shot lots of things, and watched some cut scenes that I can only assume were a mocking parody of philosophising in other games.

I tend to use the ps5 for your big fancy pixel games, but for The Deck, I go for older stuff in the sales: SteamWorld Dig 1 & 2 - both superb Inside Vampire Survivors (as per Sandybahookie earlier) Fez Firewatch Dave the Diver Dredge Evil within 2 - drains the battery I found And obviously Half Life 2 and Portal 2.

I have not played many games recently. I lost momentum in Elden Ring again. I enjoyed what I played, (about 20 hours), but I haven't been back. I'm also somewhere in Mass Effect 2. Not sure where.
I was going to buy Greedfall 2. But it is only out in early access for PC. I want a full PS5 release with all the bells and whistles falling off . Spiders may be my current favourite producer of terrible European RPGs.
I have lined up some games to buy and not play: Silent Hill 2, Darksiders 2 PS5, New Ass Creed, Dragon Age 4, Soul Reaver 1&2, Kingdome Come Deliverance 2 and Civ 7. I still want the Ronin game, but I am waiting for it's price to fall.
The Last Of Us is the best. Shenguin is a brutal clumsy oaf who does not understand true beauty. It's not even that difficult a game. I have it on PS3, PS4 and PS5. I have played it at least 3 times. I am going to play it on PS5 and follow that up by actually completing TLOU2. Maybe
Bioshock Infinite was a pretty shooter eleven years ago. Overly in love with how clever it thought it was. 4* for 2013

I'm currently watching a long shot of 3 people (presumably umpires) standing around the middle of Headingley cricket pitch on Yorkshire CC youtube channel.. No sound or commentary. It's strangely compelling.
4 stars.

They're now chatting to two other people at the boundary rope. 3 have walked off and two are heading back towards the middle.
Great story. Compelling and rich.

I just sent a text to a mate to the effect that, 'I'll be out tomorrow doing things and having a bonce cut'.
This was autocorrected to, 'having a nonce cut'.
Who designs these things?

Excellent advice.
Inside, Portal 2 and Firewatch? Completed it, mate.
Half Life 2? Bought and not played.
I see Dredge and Monster Hunter World are both on sale pretty cheap with a big green tick indicating Deck optimisation. I am about to snap them up and not play them.
Bioshock Infinite I liked a lot at the time. Probably my favourite philosophising game after 3D Deathchase and Jet Pac 2. I thought the ending was good, and I did not see it coming. Best ending in any game I've played, I think. Obvs the cool kids will have worked it out miles in advance. HZD had a good ending too.
Games with good endings? 1. Bioshock Infinite
2. HZeroDawn 3. Last of Us
That's my top 3.

I preferred Bioshock to Bioshock Infinite.
Best ending to a game
1) Demon's Souls 2) Mass Effect 2 3) Resident Evil 4) The Witcher 2 (I did not the get the ending i wanted or expected. My pursuit of justice messed the world up bad) 5) Munch's Oddyssy
Worst Ending
Mass Effect 3
