Yesterday, while Boris was posing for signing his resignation letter, I was sitting in a hospital waiting room (not for myself, I hasten to add). There was a piano in the hospital foyer, apparently for the amusement of passing children, who were busy producing experimental music by randomly attacking the keyboard. Then, just as I was leaving, a driver trying to get out of a parking space rammed the side of his car into a steel bollard. So, plenty of entertainment on the whole. However, I also brought my Switch along and finally managed to tear myself away from Skyrim and start up the Octopath Traveler demo.
I chose Cyrus the Scholar as my first character, and although I've not got all that far, I really like it. I'm getting serious flashbacks to Bravely Default, and that's not a bad thing in my book. I'm finding the art style that gives the impression of peering into a diorama, with the pixel-art protagonists looking like cut-outs, extremely charming.
I also like the attitude of the game's producer, who apparently said in an interview that there won't be DLC for this game as "it's a finished product". That is a refreshing change to the usual "games as services" blahblah these days. The Guardian Games section seems to be on holiday at the moment, wonder whether they are going to review the game?

Off work today/tomorrow with the child.
At the park. It's the fine line between allowing her to climb any old thing she wants and breaking a bone(s) on my watch as I'd never hear the end of it.
Attempted the server farm mission again last night in GTA. It's going to need another body guarding as we do the hack I think as with just two it's rock hard... And that's on normal.

Predictions for the France vs Belgium game tonight? I fancy the French to nick it by a goal or two in 90 minutes. I think Antoine Griezmann has been a bit unheralded this tournament so far, yet he has scored 3 times and taken some great free kicks.

I vaguely remember making some changes to my fantasy team, and have a feeling there are lots of Belgians in there. Both of these statements lend weight to my long standing suspicion that I don't have a fucking clue what I'm talking about |
