I am finding the football confusing. Confusing, but not hurtful. After 8 games we are 5 points clear with a game in hand, having just played 4 tough games. This is unexpected. I did think we would do well. But at 1-0 down to Wycombe via an own goal I was not expecting 7 wins in a row. I am enjoying the ride. Rolling EscargotI see Aberdeen are on 18 points. Are you still full from Xmas dinner? 12 consecutive wins, unbeaten since March, and this without our best player sold to Girona in the summer. Inevitably it won't last and we'll finish 6th. 4 stars As long as Birmingham beat Wrexham. I'm getting very bored of their fairytale story. |

Collected my meds from the chemist this morning and they gave me what they called a flu jab. God only knows what it might be that they've injected into me. I'll keep checking that I've got no signs of mutating.

Games? I am thinking of getting Into the Breach for my Deck, since it's on sale. I am really enjoying buying games and not playing them on another device. Monster Hunter and Dredge have been a joy to not play so far.

As long as Birmingham beat Wrexham. I'm getting very bored of their fairytale story. 3-1 a few weeks ago. We gave them a goal start and a footballing lesson. They are second in the table I think. It's difficult to see down that far from here. 5 points behind, played a game more and sent home with tails between their legs. Clearly we are playing League One like Tids plays games - on easy mode. We have a Championship squad. I'm sure there will be a few blips but at the moment it is smoother than Amipal's bonce. |

Certainly it began with a similar sounding syllable. Celtic getting humiliated in Europe is one of my favourite things. The collective schadenfreude that fills my Whatsapps on such evenings is genuinely enjoyable. Likewise the articles in the papers the next day about how it's not fair because of the huge financial disparities they are faced with. |
