hi ShenguinI did try the Juicy Marbles steak inspired concept. They’re pretty nice. Worth buying, and eating. The no-meat flank steaks arrived last night. Very small. Each one is about a quarter of the size of a standard Sir Loin steak. I am interested to see what they will taste like. |

I did characterise the Juicy Marbles ersatz steaks as vegan filet mignon. I had pointed out that they didn’t look like steaks, and the pm said that it was maybe filet mignon, that they were supposed to look like ...

I would quite like to try vegan crispy duck - made to look like the crispy ducks that hang in the windows of some Chinese restaurants. With the beaks - plastic beaks. Sadly they don’t exist.

Googling them has also shown me that they are £9 in Tesco (where I saw them) and £7 in Waitrose.

I am back from the Royal Eye Infirmary. The highlight of the trip was getting off the bus. I stood up to walk to the stairwell from the top deck. There was a scruffy looking chap sitting down two seats ahead of me. As I passed him, without warning, a squelchy fart escaped from my buttocks, right next to his bonce.
Dear reader. I did not look back, and nonchalantly carried on walking.

New specs ordered.
The PM had lent me money towards them and I'm paying her back when I get backdated pay in Dec. She just told me she doesn't want it all back.
I've insisted she takes it all back.
Mainly as I can't then buy myself a SteamDeck.
