Really? Are you not worried about burn-in? Not so far in the 20 months I've had it. But I wouldn't pause what I'm watching and go to the pub for a few hours, I guess. I got a Sony A80J 55" a while after they'd come out in a sale for three figures. I'm happy with it so far. The colours are worth the cost alone. But I'm no expert, so I'm sure there are better out there.

Yesterday, I played more Callisto Protocol, and went shopping half-cut in Aldis. Then I watched Waterloo with Rod Steiger followed by Capricorn One. Then I passed out.
A Sheeples pie was consumed.

That spreads the load so they all degrade at the same pace, it doesn't really fix the problem.

Mine has pixel cleaning. This happens automatically and I have no idea what it consists of.

My TV is mainly for show in any case. I spend most of my free time riding my sweet hog in the great outdoors, picking up hot chicks in bars and wearing cool shades.

Really? Are you not worried about burn-in? I’ve a Panasonic OLED. If you pause anything for more than five minutes, it goes to a Google screensaver that pulls photographs from the internet. Image updates once a minute, so nothing gets burned in. I expect the telly to die before burn in becomes an issue, such is the state of modern electronics.

When I was considering getting OLED recently I found plenty of people still complaining about it. Hopefully it isn't an issue anymore because I quite fancy an upgrade soon.

Here's the hotel room that One Direction guy was in. Look at that telly! Probably frustrated with the pixel burn in.

Better to burn in, than it is to fade away

Imagine quality is fantastic, a real step up from my non-4K, non-HDR, non-OLED Sony panel that it replaced. Watching The Expanse on it really shows off the deep blacks and subtle tones.

When I watched Rise of The Skywalker 4k uhd on my new telly it was like I'd had a Riddick eye shine. Tremendous.

My TV does not do HRD properly. It will do it at Full HD but not on 4K. On the other hand I am fine with 4k 65". I am sure HDR would be a bit better, but it's not a game changer. Also I bought a Sony TV so it will last forever. I think I have had it 6 years now.

My telly does 4k and HDR fine, but the blacks are rubbish and most of the apps are a bit slow now. It's not got great connectivity to other devices either.
It also doesn't save programs properly to a USB or hard drive.

I set up my old amp and record player today. It sounds amazing and I'm worried I might start buying vinyls again. Have you seen the price of the fuckers these days?

You need box sets, not just single LPs, that's where the real £ is. Or if you absolutely hate your wallet try a few Record Store Day releases.

I'm going to a record fair on Saturday morning. Assuming i get up on time. I will have a good look at vinyls and concert CDs hopefully. Though i get my bootlegs mostly for free on the internets. I do miss the time when you could get some beautifully packaged good quality bootlegs at record fairs. Too many of them are CDrs or YouTube rips now and the sound quality isn't there.,
