Hi Just got back from the anti Trumpalumpa March in that London. Rewarding myself with a well earned ice cold cider. We were talking about that in work. What's the deal with the protesters, do they all take a day off work or are they unemployed? Edit: just to clarify, this is a serious question! Difficult to tell. My wife and I are retired and there were others of about our age but most were young people. Probably a good cross section of society. The march itself was good natured and fun but the hour of speeches beforehand, while well meaning we're tortuous. I really felt like starting a "Walk not talk" chant.

We actually walked past my daughter's place of work on Regent Street, texting her of our progress. I dunno if she told her bosses that her mum and dad were down there marching.
Still on the plus side my wife got a free whistle which could come in handy...
EDIT: On my second pint of cider. This thirst won't go away.

I’m currently being forced to watch the Good Girls, featuring her with the boobs from Mad Men, Anne (her?) and Donna from Parks and Rec. Also with Rickety Cricket.
I have no idea what’s going on, I fell asleep in the last few episodes.

I fell asleep in the last few episodes. It's all that free beer. Hello. The child and I have been on a play date today. Luckily the two I've been on the mums have been chatty. Hopefully I'm going to shove on The Division tonight. First of all I need to look at my sister's goosed laptop. *Sigh*

Amipal, there, requesting Germany build up its armed forces. Spending too much time hating the French can blind you. I like to think that the pasting they got 70+ years ago was enough to bash the warrior tendency out of the Germanic race.

With regards to the Trump protesters I walked past the one in Sheffield and it seemed a mixture of the Pro Palestine and Anti Trump brigade of which I am sure many booked the day off but equally many were also middle class retired ex- nurse and teacher types with nothing better to do. I absolutely doff my cap to the guy with Wenger Out sign also.

I was tempted to make my own "Down with this sort of thing!" placard.

We had an anti-Trump march in Brighton. You know, the city down on the south coast which Trump didn't visit?
Still, plenty of protest-fodder down here, what with Museli Mountain the Hove lot, and two universities. Republic of Brighton and all that.
I am quite hangry at present. I am diligently awaiting the delivery of my takeaway Chinese. Gods I hope it is here soon. I am actually gritting my teeth.

The march seemed fine to me. Good cross-mix of society. I only really went in Tent Hen's place, because I knew she wouldn't bother. And because I'm alive.

He's with the Angles now. Or maybe the Saxons. Definitely not the Gauls.
