We just had a new MFD delivered that's too big for the reprographics cupboard.
I did ask before it was coming what model it was. Procurement basically told me to fuck off and it was none of my business.

After months of procrastination our buyer has finally pulled out. Disappointing, especially for my wife who had set her heart on our move, but can't say I'm surprised.
I think that she, her broker and her solicitor have been playing games trying to reduce the price. The rest of the chain were so keen to keep the chain alive that they agreed to each reduce their asking price to meet what was claimed to be a £13k shortfall in her funds. In the end her solicitors claimed a further shortfall of £6k.
I wouldn't be surprised if she comes back with a lower offer now the chain has collapsed. If so she can go fuck herself.

It's not just the wasted time and money (on solicitor's fees, surveys etc) but the fact that half the contents of the house is currently in cardboard boxes and we've dismantled / disposed of furniture we could still use...
On the plus side we can now get access to the inside of the shed.
