Making a vat of chilli.
I foolishly used part of a mix that looked nice.
The hit of cloves on the nose is quite strong. Hmm. A liberal dousing of Lea&Perrin's has helped a bit.
Fucks sake. Got some coriander I can add as well. Might be making the child a different dinner though.

I’m making some soup. I went to a pub earlier.
In the pub I had a drink, and then another drink. And then came home.
Watching football now. The soup is in the kitchen. I’m making it, but at this point that just means waiting for half an hour.
Not much else happening.
I did see Gladiator II yesterday. A good film. I might have liked it even more than the first one.

The new Pot is reassuringly heavy with a good seal on the lid. Chicken still cooking, cheesecake looks good won't know how it tastes until later. Will update then. |
