The misses abandoned me with the bay last night so no games, cold pizza and lots of In the Night Garden. Also, here's a pro tip, don't put "joke sex doll" into google images on your work computer. Fuck's sake.

Now that spreadsheet Phil has gifted me a bunch of dosh, what games are being released to waste it on?
Or should I head down to Sainsburys' and get a load of bourbon?

I got a post through pre-mod at the other place referring to Spreadshit Phil. A Chatterbox reference and a small victory. Still in pre-mod though.

Hi Tent Hen,
He's reading Rivers of Gold: The Rise of the Spanish Empire by Hugh Thomas. He's very clever. He's not actually my dog. He belongs to a friend, but I regularly see him, walk him, and look after him for weekends, holidays, etc. He's basically the best.

Of course Hugh Thomas belongs to one of my friends. One of my other friends used to have AJP Taylor, took him for daily walks and threw sticks for him in the park. Simon Schama lives with a family down the road from here and regularly comes into the pub (they have a water bowl for him, and the bar staff always give him a biscuit as a treat, which is nice.) David Starkey is the one who fucks it up for other historians round here, giving them a bad name; little bastard is all growling teeth and aggression, and he's always shitting in the street with nobody to pick it up for him.

Has anyone played a game? A bit more Mario. But I also ordered a copy of Skyrim because they were throwing in a free stand for the console and *whispers* I've never played itSkyrim, you say! Be warned it really ate into my time for doing other things that matter. Skyrim Alchemy spoilers, which will give you combat bonuses or gold: " Deathbell + River Betty + Bonemeal" and " Dragons Tongue + Fly Amonita +Scally Pholioa"

Re VPNs, I looked into using an onion router to spoof an IP address from a different country a while ago (to enable me to stream live Birmingham games). It was all tempting, but their model relies on other users in other countries being able to route their internet via my computer and connection, as part of the onioned re-routing of traffic. Which made me so uncomfortable that I didn't use it. Even if I can't get caught for it, I do not want some bastard using my connection for whatever stuff it is that other people use onion routers for. I'm not particularly technically minded; do free VPN services work with a similar model?
Intellectual property theft, drugs and illegal weapons are bad enough, but I would have felt really bad if I'd inadvertently helped users of child pron or 4chan.

I seriously doubt that. Facts don't lie.

Opera Developer with in-built VPN would probably meet your requirements. So far as I'm aware, nothing is routed back through your PC, it just passes through Opera's servers and is anonymised via either an Optimal location (presumably the fastest) or 5 options (US, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Singapore). But, of course, only your browser activity goes through VPN, not other programs on your PC that access the internet.

I seriously doubt that. Facts don't lie. i do not recognise any of these people. They are certainly not the Batman I knew and loved* *Yes, loved, but not in that way.** **Not that there's anything wrong with that.
