No wonder there are so many scaffolders in MrTiddles's neighbourhood. The tales they could tell.

I worked with a guy who was performing an act on himself and looked up to the window when he heard a sound and at that point made eye contact with the window cleaner.

All I want right now is square sausage and Irn Bru. You're kidding yourself on with that reduced sugar stuff. That's where its healing properties came from.

Wedding pre-shoots? What is the point of that? Slimming down the guest list. Keeps Amipal off the streets.

Morning all,
Found the space hamster in ME Andromeda. I was on tenderhooks that they'd miss it off.
I like to think that in the future a better cage was an option, way too small.
Immersion totally ruined.

I know what he's still on holiday but there's no need to call Scubar a wanker.

Wedding pre-shoots? What is the point of that? My thoughts exactly. . . Apparently it's twofold, one, you get some nice photos of you and your SO, and two, you get used to the photographers direction etc. so you're a bit more relaxed on the day. It was better than I expected tbh. Meaning the second point is likely right.

Has everyone been raptured? I wish. Oh, they have? This is awkward.

Well since I am now alone it is time to up the standards.
Books Anthony Ryan Blood Song trilogy I enjoyed them the last 200 pages of the third book fell apart a bit. However that is 2,000 pages of very solid books with maps first.
Chris Wickham Medieval Europe Enoyably dry history
I currently have 40+ books in my top 5 book to read next pile. This is not the only pile.
Well apparently not alone.

Also I went to a terrible football game. It was poor even by the standards I am used to. The heat didn't help. It seemed to make the two sides listless s the game went on. QPR were ultra defensive. Or answer to this was aimless long balls forward. The referee did his part by blowing for endless minor fouls. 90% in favour of defenders. I suspect that particularly in the second half he was struggling for fitness and didn't want to run too much.

I know a lady who, on their pre-wedding shoot, did a mid-shoot outfit change - into a T Rex costume. The look on the future-groom's face...

Games - DARGON QUEST XI
Tremendous stuff. Bit on the east side a la Ninokuni 2 but its a belter of a DQ game.
Wanted to try that Destiny 2 Gambit thing but ended up having to do proper person things instead.

Hola Nerdmigos,
I am also on holiday, greetings from Mexico city.
The food is great (not a fajita in sight mind, amipal you're up!) and the cervezas cold and cheap.
It is very early here, (just before 7am) we are up and off to go to Teotihuacan.

Sweepstake on the circumstances of Faceless' death during his first morning at work? I think I'm going to go for "Responded to a fake job advert and lost both kidneys to international organ smugglers. I'll miss him, he was a good 'boxer. Four stars.
Weekend was busy and hectic -- since the local amateur dramatic society lost their practice space we've had to do early rehearsals in member's homes. Last night was my turn to host. They're a really good bunch, and their attention to detail and commitment to rehearsals is great. We're doing a stage version of When Harry Met Sally at the moment, and all the ticket proceeds will go to local Children's Charities, and I think it's going to be really good.
In other news, I'm just about ready to kill my neighbours. They stand under my open window so their cigarette smoke drifts in and shout like hoodlums. Real loutish old farts.

You're part of an amateur dramatic society!? I would never have guessed that. A man of many talents. Are you the dashing leading man?
