Morning all,
At the weekend I gave Rome: TW Barbarian Invasion a go, having never played it before.
I chose the Eastern Roman empire and watched as dozens of stacked enemy units demolished eveything. Not sure I'll be playing again.

Morning!
Better half was on her Hen weekend which meant a lot of gaming time for me, most of which was spent playing BotW. It's quite a good game. Currently just obtained the Master Sword and I'm now back on track to mount the volcano lizard robot thing.
Back in Azeroth I did some more Mythic+. Did a +6 with a pug. Never again. If you don't know tactics, you shouldn't be doing advanced content. If you don't know not to stand in bad shit in general, you shouldn't be doing dungeons full stop. Idiots. Also did a +7 with a guild group. That went much* smoother. Tonight, raid time again. I can quit whenever I like, I swear.
TV wise I got caught up with Forged in Fire and watched a couple of IASiP episodes (The Gang Turn Black and Hero or Hate Crime).
*Well, kind of. But at least the failures this run were mostly due to under gearing rather than incompetence. Mostly.

I've misplaced my PSP charger so shan't be taking that with me. OTTM: None. I believe it charges from the mini usb port as welL. Though you have to turn it on in settings. So if it's fully drained nae luck. |

I had a chat with the likeable and slightly drunk decent Polish other neighbour, yesterday, who's name I will not use here. Let's call him 'David'. Not the most Polish of names (Damn, I think I messed up there) . Turns out that they are all Jehovahs witnesses, the neighbourhood Poles. Anyway, his wife is away (in Poland) and his 18 litres of home brew wine has come to fruition. PARTY TIME!!! Long story short, they were all up there last night, shouting, screaming, playing music. At one point it sounded like they were battering a seal cub to death in the kitchen. I went outside where it was twice as loud. Lord know's what it sounded like in their kitchen. I'm afraid, dear readers, despite my wife saying, 'don't do anything', I shouted, 'WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?', at their kitchen window and the noise abated. You see readers, they knew they were doing it wrong.
Still, like all good Christians, they stopped at precisely 10.30 p.m. I hope they fucking suffer this morning, the wankers. |

Spent the Sunday with Spider-man, swinging around town. Really nailed the swinging mechanics in this one.
Also looking forward to CODBLOPSIIIIIIII Battle Royale this week, from the trailer it actually looks rather lovely.

I lived below a load of scouse drug dealers in Torquay (the reason I moved out in the end). 10 of them at any one time. What was a lovely courtyard with flowers etc, became a rubbish tip of drug refuse, fast food refuse. One guy even pissed on my front door from his hallway upstairs on a Sunday @10.45 am. They used to inhale nitrous oxide in balloons and have a spitting competion into the courtyard at night. After I left, I went back a week later to hand back the keys and met another ground floor neighbour. The scousers had left apparently, but stolen his purebred rabbits from the hutches that he was breeding. So, don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining etc...  [edit] he wasn't breeding the hutches. |
