On the last bit, this is also being talked about in the video as something that's going to happen - re-do it, but not in a FF VII-it's-all-gone-tits-up-remake way. I would be all over that. It'd make the bi-annual play through a lot more comfortable if it was on the Switch.

Do you favour the vertical/polar/zero waste or traditional approach to an apple? Traditional. Zero waste is plain wrong. Why would you leave the worst for last?

Snow White had a zero waste approach to apples. That did not go so well.

I think you’ll find the Snow White approach was “One bite, and all your dreams will come true.” Not “demolish this like a fat seafront donkey”.
If you approach it like livestock, the extra fibre/stem/bits of branch mean it goes through faster than sweetcorn and any nefarious potions barely touch the sides.

Also! Games. I'm hitting up destiny 2, it's just ok. Anyone else been playing it? crankcaller what do you think of it so far? I tried the zombie DLC on ps now and bounced right off it, I'm not sure RDR has aged as well as it could have done. Tbf I'm not far enough into RDR to make a proper judgement. It was late and only played about 30 mins. More tonight perhaps. D2 I played a bit of and got confused. I thought I was playing the computer but ended going into a room with other people and had to fight off wave after wave of baddies.

I favour the traditional eating of an apple (with heavy bruising) purely because I absolute love to core my apples. Using an apple corer is one of the best things you can do in life between the hours of 11.45am to midday.

What are your thoughts on those corer/slicer things vs the traditional biopsy jobs? I’m a traditionalist, but I can see the appeal.

Afternoon.
May I recommend the ultimate no-waste way to deal with apples?
Take apple and remove core using ring-type corer.... remove unwanted core from corer, and throw at neighbours cat/ put on birdtable/ compost. Take corer and plunge it into a block of mature chedder. Carefully extract core shaped cylinder of cheese from block using corer. Insert corer/cheese combo back into the apple. Using thumb to apply pressure to the cheese, remove corer from the assembly, leaving the apple with a nice new cheesy core. Scoff the lot, with optional beverage of choice.

Well, I think that silence speaks volumes.
Forgot to update you all on the raid last night! How selfish of me, keeping such quality chat to myself. We downed 'MOTHER' and the 'Fetid Devourer' on heroic, before wiping for an hour against 'Vectis'. On Wednesday, we go again, this time with me tanking *LQL avatar face*. Should be fun*!
*This is said in earnest. I'm beyond pretending I'm not fully balls deep into WoW again.

No-one has said what's to be done with the stickers yet.
Come to think of it, why don't apple companies make them edible?

No-one has said what's to be done with the stickers yet. Come to think of it, why don't apple companies make them edible? Why do apples need stickers anyway? I never understood that. It's not like you have them on potatoes or tomatoes. What's so special about apples? Or bananas for that matter.

This forum originally had a 5 star system for numbers of posts. I removed the top level as 4 stars maximum seemed appropriate somehow.
Obviously Admin has 5 stars as I don't know how to change it.

Today we took one of our cats to the vet as he had a swelling on his back.
It turned out he had an abscess which needed to be drained.
Result; one shaved cat locked in the house and feeling sorry for himself, not to mention another cat locked in the house wondering what the hell he's being punished for.
Also a course of antibiotics and a £345 vet bill.
