Lunch was a vegan black rice sushi with avocado, carrot and mint. Yes, mint. Why? Because I can never resist a reduced price lunch. Fortunately I also had an equally reduced price chicken katsu to take away the taste. I notice that Babyfark has changed his avatar to Gritty. Although it reminds me how much I like a Philly steak sandwich. It's about the same colour as the weird cheese sauce they use. No-one does junk food like the Americans. Hello, you hungover lost causes. Last night was weird. Both my preferred mammal and I were watching all afternoon and all evening the testimony hearing for the US Supreme Court position. It was mesmerising, in a car crash kind of way. Brett Kavanaugh's opening statement was 45 minutes long and it effortlessly drove us to drink, although at one point Mr Tent Rooster was eyeing his bottle of ale nervously and asking whether he would be accused of sexual assault if he drank it, since the two apparently inextricably go together. You like beer, you will be accused of being a sex pest 36 years later. I'll level with you tenthenemy, there are better ways to spend an evening. |

Until I win a solo or duo it will never stop. I will keep going beyond the humiliating losses, the family interventions, the decline in mental health, the desperate and subsequent addiction to stimulants, the loss of friends etc... I'm sure I'll regret this but once they allow the console link thing feel free to add me and we can be old and shit together, huddled for warmth before the young people put us out of our misery |

Is the gameplay slow or the story? The former is a bit slow, but I thought it felt good. Realistic combat, when hefting a big ass axe around. The story I thought was ok, it built up and didnt reach a peak but then ended rather abruptly. Which I've seen argued was a deliberate decision, to show the "return to normality" but I had no desire to return to any of the extra bits when I was done. It got me out of a bit of a gaming funk and is my personal GOTY, not that I've bought many other new titles this year (waiting for RDR2 to hit me like a train with it's bulging horse testicles) |
