I made a very small amount of progress in Dark Souls last night. Discovered the dukes archives, and sort of ran about for a bit.

Blimey.
You can get to that area as soon as Ornstein & Smough are dead.
It does contain a trap so you get stuck at one particular bonfire if you can't fight your way out.
This is in no way annoying on your first play through of the game if you are struggling with it.
It also sometimes suffers from glitches so scenes do not necessarily trigger when they should. Dying and restarting from the bonfire resolves this.

Sheep2 - Going to Japan, New Zealand and Singapore. Hence why I'm off for the rest of the month  @bloggiesmalla - Something just didn't feel quite right about the first 3, couldn't put my finger on what though. The fourth (which is Times Up) is back to the best of them. Hopefully it just took them a little to warm up. On Stardew, I think I have to label it my GOAT. It's the one game I'm always in the mood for. It might not excel in any one area specifically, but what it does it does well. It's like your 'go to' meal (or in this place, drink might be more appropriate), you might try different dishes that taste superb and look fantastic, but when all's said and done, and you're waiting for that final injection, you still go for the Sunday roast/ burger and chips/ cheese sandwich. Thanks for the well wishes all!

Dying and restarting from the bonfire resolves this. I must have missed it. Went back to Anor Londo just for a mooch about, and realised I'd never taken that path before. Got killed by the boss, but I assume that was supposed to happen as I ended up next to a different bonfire. I'm now in an area where you have to rotate the stairs, and those wizard blokes do the funny dance. |

The wizards are great until they repeatedly kill you. I'm sure they say something about having new shoes as well.

Hi. I feel ill. I had to go with the millennial to observe some of his work. I did not need that first thing this morning.
Games: Me and Rolling discovered new ways to lose at Fortnite. I also found new ways to get annoyed at Grans Tiramisu, as I encountered bellend after bellend who apparently don't know that steering wheel is meant to turn when you get to a corner.

I also worked out how to get remote play working on my laptop, which is good timing now that Strictly has started again. Telly? No! Other? Mrs Fark like to watch me play Fortnite whilst whilst browsing on her laptop. She constantly tries to put me off, saying stuff like "stay away from him, he looks much better than you", or "I bet you die here". I'm mean she's right, but still. Oddly she will not let me play NMS or PUBG when she sits next to me, has to be Fortnite. I really believe she enjoys watching die over and over. But don't I die a lot in PUBG? I do but it takes me ages to find someone before said death. |

To be honest, I usually start off ignoring and / or hating Strictly, and by the end of the series I am hooked. Last year we even went to the live show and I didn;t hate it. However, playing games at the same time will help with the self-deception.

Just to stoke the console war a bit, I'm now hearing that Rockstar is planning on holding back some RDR 2 content for a whole month from XBox One, thus favouring the PS4. I don't have a dog in this fight as I have neither and can't say that I approve of such practices, but I thought that this is valuable information for toolio2010 in his decision on what console to get for the game. Hey, toolio2010 ! The PS4 version of Red Dead 2 will have exclusive content over the Xbox one for a whole month! Edit: Ah, I see that it's something to do with the online play, so maybe it's no deal breaker. |

Just edited my post, the source I got this info from was only talking about "exclusive content" in the context of criticism of Rockstar in this respect. What Sony has said is that players of the PS4 version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will receive "first access to earn select online content" in the game. Whether that's a big deal for anyone I can't say. |
