Afternoon.
Lunchblog - Lamb pasty + crisps
Workblog - I have been assigned an apprentice for 6 months. The fools. I wasn't given the opportunity to decline this mission, so someone has given this some thought. He has a very Italian sounding name, and I've heard a rumour that he has 'family' in my wider office, so i'm playing this cautiously, and on my guard for serious looking dudes in shades and violin cases. I have also heard my bosses boss has designs on my desk, as it's nicely secluded and there's a big re-shuffle in the offing. If i'm moved to where my screens are visible I'll need to re-plan my surfing. After today i'm off til next Tuesday so expect to come back and find someone elses slippers under my desk and i'll have been relegated to the one nobody else would take. Bastards.
Dogblog - second round of chemo this week. Still no more fits but steroids side effects mean she is getting seriously fat. I expect a lecture from the vets, but plan to plead that she's just taking after her owner.

I'm still sick with a cold or something but I'm soldiering on. Unseasonable It snowed a fair bit overnight and making my commute a pain in the rear. I've not even had time to put my winter tires on yet! I'm eyeing up the forza four Xbox one bundle....think that's manageable. No beer because I'm sick. I thought it was "tyre" in Canada? |

I watched the video that Mr Tiddles posted earlier of Sleeping Dogs. Brilliant stuff. I was crying with laughter at some of it. The handbag throwing in particular. Probably says alot about me really.
Saw it was £16 or so on Amazon, but not sure I'll play it at the moment. Might stick to the videos for now.

But as I say, one for another time, if I can make my brain work properly so I don't buy it just to add to the pile. |
