So, the new box (same as the old box) is one year old eh? I'm somewhat confused as to who broke what yesterday but I do know that the second hardest difficulty level on God of War broke me so I had to lower it to "a balanced experience", which literally translates as "you won't have to do each encounter myriad times and get one shotted by every single goddamn enemy in a way that makes Soulsborne look easy". This is going to be no simple platinum if you have to complete it on anything tougher. Got a PS4 Pro so I can finally put my 4K tv to good use.
OTTM, the dog has become incontinent and his legs are going. Time to make a direwolf lined cloak from his pelt.
OTTM, still single, dating has been more challenging than a high difficulty on God of War.
Soup, two pints of Doom Bar and a pint of stella (purchased for someone who arrived spectacularly late so I started to consume).

I hope that Amipal's cat is going to be more rational about this vet thing than my own. Turns out that she has taken up permanent position on the desk in front of the computer, on top of the keyboard if we hadn't moved it. This is hard and uncomfortable for her and a damn nuisance for anyone wanting to use the computer. She's purposefully avoiding any more suitable location (like the back of the sofa, her very own cushioned platform on the window sill) that she associates with being picked up, stuffed into a box and taken to the vet. She obviously thinks that if she stays in a different place she will be immune from being picked up, stuffed into a box, etc. In other words, she's become superstitious and at the same time is suffering from PTSD.
I'm finding it difficult to reason with her. I admit that I wouldn't like it either if someone picked me up and stuffed me into a box, but I go to my vet voluntarily.
