I did a Google image search for that Wikipaedia image. Chief, you did a bad spelling mistake there. Encyclopedia used to be spelled encyclopaedia hence his spelling. Britannica still is.

I didn't even know there were two Andy Ritchie players in football. I remember the fella who played for Oldham.

It was the sentence, taken as a whole, that needed attention drawing to it. I wish I hadn't now. OTTM: Are any of you Richard Tweed, who had an Uncle Davy & Auntie Mill?. If so, I have your inscribed Eagle Annual no.2 from Xmas 1952. It is complete, however the binding on the spine is 'iffy' at best. Smells a bit too. Also, which one of you nicked my Eagle Annual 1966?

Henry XIII? Was expecting a Brexit reference, not his best but in fairness the standard is generally very high

There would need to be another 3 Henry's first.

Not even the best player at the time. Edit: If we're going down the fat bastard route, Kris Boyd has to be up there. Asked why he decided to shoot when he'd scored from 35 yards he said "Well, I wasn't going to out pace the defender".

Can't really fault that list. The biggest units I've seen play live are Andy Reid and Adebayo Akinfenwa.

You're both wrong. It's clearly a cricket ball. Funnily enough I think Tuffers nabbed the cricket ball picture from the wikipedia page for "Cricket ball" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cricket_ballYour face was nabbed from the Wikipedia page for cricket ball.

Who was the football player that when told to wear a heart monitor for a fitness check, stuck it on his dog?

Andy Ritchie has a reputation in Scotland equivalent to Matt Le Tissier - ie probably brilliant but probably couldn't really be bothered. Ritchie was before my time, but I remember Chic Charnley as another. Absolutely immense footballer but never got near a big club or the national team because he was more famous for being overweight and chasing people away from the Partick training ground with a samurai sword.

I like the way he only comments on sport. I was looking for a few Brexit remarks (I bet he's pro Brexit) but couldn't find any.
